Incisional Hernia: Common for patients who have had surgery and their tissue does not fully heal. 

Inguinal Hernia: Common hernia that occurs in the groin, more common in men, but can be seen in women too

Ventral Hernia: A bulge in the abdominal wall, not associated with an old surgical incision

Umbilical Hernia: A type of Ventral Hernia found at the belly button
